Understanding Trauma

For those wanting to increase their knowledge and expertise in the area of Trauma and Attachment we offer an accredited course ‘Understanding Trauma’ with three stand-alone units, each of which carry 3 credits with Open Awards. The units cover:

1. Understanding the Effects of Trauma
2. Nature, Nurture and Identity
3. Understanding and Managing Challenging Behaviours

After the initial training day, units are studied via distance learning.
