This is our most popular course which can be delivered as an Inset day, to social workers, police, solicitors, health professionals, foster carers, adopters, and those working with the homeless and prisoners.
This day includes looking at the effects of early trauma; nature, nurture and identity; understanding and managing challenging behaviours. The day can be delivered as a stand alone event, tailor made to the needs of your organisation, or as an introduction to the T+afa Level 3 Accredited Distance Learning Course on ‘Understanding Trauma’.
We would love everyone in the country involved with vulnerable children and adults to go through this informative, creative and interactive day.
Brilliant. Such a great training session. I really enjoyed it. Informative, well delivered and good resources, very positive and I learned so much in a professional and relaxed atmosphere. Lincoln TLC
Have you delivered this to OFSTED inspectors, they need to hear it. I found this very enlightening. I hope to get to work with you in our classrooms and get more of your training.
FAMILY JUSTICE BOARD, SHEFFIELD:
Thank you for presenting a most interesting talk on the services you offer and the behavioural difficulties in respect of children who have suffered neglect. I have received extremely positive feedback from the 17 professionals who attended, comments such as “a fascinating presentation”, “excellent course, gave me a much better insight in respect of acting for children but also vulnerable adults (parents)”, “fascinating insight into the work that is being done, what is clear is how little is available..”, “an explanation of brain development, traumatic experiences of children, it was relevant to today and the future”, “I found it really informative and interesting”. Again, may I take this opportunity of thanking you for the time that you have taken to present to the training sub committee of the Local Family Justice Board.

SHEFFIELD INCLUSION CENTRE INSET DAY
Excellent workshop. Really informative. I found all of it useful. Very well presented with clear information and great practical advice for working with children in real life situations. I appreciated the links to books, videos etc to get further info. Enjoyed the stories that backed up the information.
